In the early hours of December 7^th 1941 the Japanese air raid on the naval base of the US Pacific Fleet in Pearl Harbor took place. This event marked the beginning of the Pacific War.

On September 2^nd 1945, the Japanese signed the surrender document aboard the US battleship USS Missouri. Thus, after years of bloodshed, the Second World War in the Pacific came to an end as well.

This coin collection contains 5 coins, each from a different country involved in the conflict, Australia, Netherlands, Malaya, United States of America and Japan. The coins are dated between 1941 and 1945 and presented on a collection card. A great piece of history from this period that you can add to your own collection.
