Alexander the Great, the famous king, created the largest empire of the ancient world. He conquered the lands from his native Greece to the Indian subcontinent. In the year 333 BC he fought one of the largest and most important battles against the Persian Empire at Issus.

While the gold Stater shows Athena with the inscription of King Alexander, the 2 silver coins – Tetradrachm and Drachm – and the bronze coin depict the portrait of Alexander the Great.
