The Royal Canadian Mint have issued this special edition fine silver coin to honour Queen Elizabeth II’s 70-year reign and legacy, which included over 22 visits to Canada.
Meticulously crafted in a quarter ounce of fine silver, it features four different effigies that have graced Canadian coins since Queen Elizabeth II’s coronation in 1953.
The four portraits of the Queen include the Susanna Blunt (2003-2022), Dora de Pédery-Hunt (1990-2002 effigy), Arnold Machin (1965-1989 effigy) and the Mary Gillick (1953-1964 effigy).
27mm in diameter this fine silver coin comes presented in a premium collector folder that chronicles the Queens visits to Canada over the last 70 years.
