2021 Alice Through the Looking-Glass UK £5 UK Coin

Following the popularity of Alice's Adventures In Wonderland, Lewis Carrol went on to imagine up an entirely new journey for Alice, this time we follow 'Alice Through The Looking Glass' as she discovers a world where everything is reversed and not quite as it seems.

This is the second coin in the The Royal Mint's Treasury of Tales series and is also the second time ever that the work of Lewis Carrol has been celebrated on a UK coin.

This Brilliant Uncirculated £5 Coin features an illustration of Alice first meeting Tweedledee and Tweedledum which is by Sir Jon Terriel, the original illustrator. The obverse features Jody Clark's effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, demonstrating its legal tender status.
