This special set of banknotes is the last complete issue from the GDR and is difficult to obtain.
It contains all of the banknotes that were in circulation before the reunification of Germany.
The obverses show, amongst others, Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels, the most influential thinkers on socialism and communism.
The reverses show the achievements of socialism. All of the notes are in uncirculated quality.
