The smallest of all planets in space, it is said that Mercury was formed around 4.5 billion years ago when the natural force of gravity merged swirling gas and dust together to form the tiny planet – it is predicted that a huge collision with another giant object destroyed a large proportion of its surface mass.
Due to its extreme temperatures and volatile climate, it is unlikely that life would survive on Mercury, however, the European Space Agency in 2018 launched mission BepiColombo to land two satellites on the planet in order to conduct further investigations into the composition of the planet and its history.
Ready to get up close and personal with this largely unexplored planet in incredible 3D detail? We are extremely excited to announce the release of this Incredible Mercury 1oz Spherical Silver Coin, featuring a superb ultra-dark antique finish.
An extremely unique legal tender release, we expect this limited-edition coin to fly off the shelves following the huge success of our Mars Coin releases!
This Superb Coin is housed in a detailed float frame and is accompanied by a unique certificate of authenticity to officialise your release.
