The Life of Princess Diana Stamps

An iconic figure of the late 20th century, Diana, Princess of Wales was one of the most popular royals not just in Britain, but across the world. Growing extremely close to Prince Charles in her early 20’s, Diana or ‘Shy Di’ as she was known by the media and the public, eventually married the Royal in early 1981, hoping for a long and prosperous marriage. What followed was a series of marital complications, with the new royal suffering from postnatal depression, low self-esteem, and the continued strain of the so-called official media royal watchers, or Paparazzi. 
Formally separating in 1992, whilst Diana settled for the loss of her status as ‘Her Royal Highness’, she continued to use her high public profile to support various charitable causes and led several foundations seeking to reduce inequality. She eventually inherited the title of “The People’s Princess” because of her compassion and overall humility to wider causes.
