Supersonic Silver-Plated 20 Cents Coin

2019 marks the 50th anniversary of Concordes first flight, on 2nd March 1969. Now, after half a century, we celebrate the impact Concorde made on technology, air travel and the minds of everyone who saw it. Capable of travelling at supersonic speeds of Mach 2.04, or 1,354 mph, over twice the speed of sound, making it the second fastest commercial airliner in history. Supersonic, from our Concorde 50th Anniversary Collection, is a celebration of this legendary plane and the ground-breaking technology that made it possible. The obverse of the coin features the cockpit of Concorde. The reverse features a portrait of the Queen.
