  • Each subscription includes one delivery every 28 days
  • Your first delivery will include a free collector’s pack with a space for each coin in the series
  • Every month thereafter, you’ll receive a new coin to add to your collection
  • Once your collector’s pack is full, we’ll send another pack to accommodate the next set of coins in your subscription
  • You’re welcome to pause or cancel your subscription at any time, with no cancellation fee
  • You can skip one or more months as needed and resume at your convenience.

We’ve designed our subscriptions to make collecting easy and adaptable to suit your changing circumstances!

Subscribers enjoy a variety of exclusive benefits, including monthly delivery for their convenience, special promotions, and complimentary gifts on selected collections.

Our subscriptions are designed with flexibility in mind; they can be paused or restarted at any time to suit individual needs.

To update the payment method:

  • Log in to your account.
  • In the left-hand menu, select ‘Subscriptions’.
  • On the subscription page, locate ‘Payment Method’ on the right and click ‘Edit’.
  • You’ll receive an email at your registered address with a secure link to update your payment method. (If the email isn’t in your inbox, please check your junk or spam folders.)
  • The email will display your current payment methods. To add a new one, simply click ‘Change’.
  • Once you’re satisfied with the updated details, scroll down and click ‘Update Card’ to save your new payment method.

To adjust your payment date:

  • Select ‘Subscriptions’ on the left-hand menu.
  • Choose the subscription you wish to modify.
  • Click ‘Skip’ to delay the next delivery or ‘Reschedule’ to select a new date.
  • In this section, you can also adjust the next order date and the order frequency.
  • If you have multiple subscriptions, please note that each will need to be updated individually.

You can restart your subscription at anytime from where you left off!

  • You can restart your subscription at anytime from where you left off by going to 'My subscriptions' and clicking 'Reactivate my subscription'

Returns & Exchanges

Changed your mind? We all do from time to time!

We hope you love everything that you've ordered, however if you'd like to return an item from your order, our returns policy is simple and free:

  • Items must be returned in their original condition, within their original packaging
  • All returns processed in line with this will be refunded back to the original method of payment
  • We're unable to refund any items returned to us outside of the returns period, or any items returned to us not in their original condition. If an item is returned outside of our returns policy we are unable to send it back to you.
  • In some circumstances we may offer a credit to the value of your return to be used towards a future order with us
  • We aim to process your refund within two working days of receiving your returned item and you will receive a confirmation email once your return has been successfully processed

Returns from the UK

  • You can return any item to us within 28 days from the date of dispatch
  • Returns are free if you use our Royal Mail returns service

Returns from outside of the UK

  • You can return any item to us within 40 days from the date of dispatch
  • Return costs for orders from outside of the UK are the responsibility of the sender

We currently do not offer direct exchanges. However, you are welcome to return your item for a refund and place a new order for the desired item. This process allows us to ensure you receive exactly what you need as quickly as possible.

Coin FAQs

What does BU mean?

Brilliant Uncirculated coins are of a higher standard than circulating and bullion coins. An entry-level collectable the dies used to strike Brilliant Uncirculated coins are polished and finished by hand.

The Brilliant Uncirculated blanks are machine-fed and struck twice. As a result, they are produced at a much quicker rate than Proof coins. They offer a good level of design detail, but have a lower definition than Proof coins.

Most Brilliant Uncirculated coins are struck in base metal, but they can also be issued in gold and silver.

What does Legal Tender mean?

Legal tender has a very narrow and technical meaning in the settlement of debts. It means that a debtor cannot successfully be sued for non-payment if he pays into court in legal tender.

In practice this means that although the silver UK coins produced by The Royal Mint in denominations of £5, £20, £50 and £100 are approved as legal tender, they have been designed as limited edition collectables or gifts and will not be entering general circulation. As such, UK shops and banks are unlikely to accept them.

What does proof-like mean?

Proof coins are the highest quality commemorative coins. Their sharpness, detail and finish are unrivalled, making them perfect for collectors looking for highest levels of craftsmanship and detail.

The dies used to strike Proof coins are hand-finished to ensure that all imperfections are removed. Blanks are fed into the coin press by hand before being struck up to six times, at a lower speed and with less pressure than other finishes, to preserve the finer details of the design.

After striking, each coin is inspected for imperfections. The dies are cleaned with air between each coin to ensure that no marks or imperfections are caused during striking.

As a result of this extra care and attention, no more than 50 Proof coins can be struck within an hour. Proof dies are also regularly reworked to maintain the quality of the finish. Each Proof die may only strike a few hundred coins before it has to be repolished.

Proof coins are struck in platinum, gold, silver and base metal editions.

With time, all coins show signs of ageing. Various terms are used to describe this process such as tarnishing, discolouring and toning. It is a natural process, although the speed at which it progresses depends largely on the environment in which the coins are kept. In most instances, it is usually a very slow process.

The tarnish on a coin is made up of the product of the corrosive element in the atmosphere and the metal from the coin surface. Here at The Koin Club we continually improve the production process for proof coins and how to store coins and therefore, our more recent products are less likely to tarnish.

However that is not to say that the newer products will not tarnish; as indicated, this is a natural process.

We work hard to reduce our carbon footprint and therefore will only send an order once all items are in stock. If one or more of your items are on pre-order, we will wait for the rest to be in stock before sending it to you. Once an order is placed, we are unable to cancel or make any changes so please check your order carefully before making a payment. This is because your order is sent to our dispatch team as soon as it has been placed so that it can be processed quickly.
